Hi there! I'm sure most of you have heard about what happened this week in NY, but here are a few extra pieces of information.

Hurricane Sandy is a tropical cyclone which affected the Carribbean and the USA. In the USA, 22 states were affected by this hurricane. The cyclone brought a storm surge in New York City on October 29th, flooding (inondant) many streets, subways (métro) and tunnels and cutting off electricity in many parts of the city.
