In New Mexico we went to El Malpais and El Morro. El Malpais is a place with volcanoes.The most interesting place was the lava flow because there was a lot of volcano's rocks.
Then we walked into the Carlsbad Caverns where there was lots of stalagtites and stalagmites.We saw bats flying in the night coming out of the caverns but it was too cold and we couldn't see much.
Why is there a lot of sand in White Sand National Park? (in the south of New Mexico). That is the question!!
It's not because there is the sea, it's not because there is the desert, no, it's because the stone called «gypsum» formed the white sand.
